K2-Zole LD
Usual Pediatric Dose for Dandruff.
K2 Zole LD solution contains a low dose of Ketoconazole (1%) which plays an important role in the treatment of Cradle Cap in Children. Clinical trials have shown that Piroctone olamine when used in the same concentration of 0.5% eight times over a period of 6 weeks, reduced dandruff by 81.7%, while ZPTO reduces Dandruff by 68.6% only.

It should be used in sufficient quantity to produce lather, left on the scalp for 1 minute, & then rinsed. The application should be repeated, left on scalp for an additional 3 minutes, 7 then rinsed.
12 years or Older: Apply every 3 or 4 days for up to 8 weeks. Then apply as needed to control dandruff.
