Tifin stops the growth of fungi by inhibiting ergosterol which is an important enzyme that is essential for fungal growth.

Tifin is used to treat fungal infection such as:-

  • Athlete’s Foot: Itching blisters, cracking and scaling of the skin between the toes.
  • Dhobie itch/Jock Itch: Itching and Inflammation of the skin especially in the groin region.
  • Ringworm Infections: Red, scaly, itchy or raised patches especially on arms, legs and trunk.

USE

Dosage: For Cutaneous Candidiasis: Use 1 or 2 times a day for 7 -14days.
For Tinea Pedis: Adults Use 2 times a day for 7-28 days
Children – Use 2 times a day for 14 days
For Tinea Corporis: Use 1-2 times a day for 7-28 days

ACTION / ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Terbinafine in Tifin has a broad spectrum antifungal activity that stops the growth of fungi by inhibiting ergosterol, an important enzyme that is essential for fungal growth. Terbinafine damages cell wall of fungus and thereby with the formation of the fungal cell membrane. This interference produces both the fungi static (Stops growth of fungus) and fungicidal (Kills fungus) effects on fungal cells.
